D.The.R.Y.L. occurs as 1985 science fiction movie which was written by David Ambrose, Allan Scott and Jeffrey Ellis. It was directed by Simon Wincer and stars Barret Oliver, Mary Beth Hurt, Michael McKean, Danny Corkill and Josef Sommer. "Daryl" ("Data Analyzing Robot Youth Lifeform") occurs as pre-teen shopping android who escapes from the science facility in which he was created, sequentially to buy a personal & survive as a very son.
